Our Mission
In a world of fast fashion, teaching little ones the value of what they wear has never been more important. Trusty & Mona was created to make sustainability fun, creative, and completely accessible for young minds (ages 4-8).
By blending playful storytelling with hands-on upcycling, we help children build a "circular mindset". We want to show them that an outgrown jumper or a torn t-shirt isn't rubbish—it is just the beginning of a great new story.

Our educational, pre-recorded videos are led by a very special duo who make learning about the planet an absolute joy:
Mona: Your cheerful host! Mona is always ready for a new game, a tricky riddle, and discovering exciting ways to protect the environment.
Trusty: The resident “Super Smart Dog”. Trusty is brilliant at solving puzzles and learning new words... but mostly, he's just hoping to win a cookie!

(Meet the Creator)
Hello! I’m Laura, the creator and facilitator behind Trusty & Mona. While the puppets handle the on-screen magic, I bring the adventure into the real world.
My passion is blending digital storytelling with tactile, hands-on learning. Whether I am visiting a busy classroom or hosting a drop-in craft station at a local library, my goal is always the same: to inspire kids to treasure their clothes and see waste as a wonderful resource. Through our interactive workshops, we watch our on-screen heroes, practise our new vocabulary, and get incredibly crafty transforming pre-loved fabrics into something brand-new.
