Our Mission
In a world of fast fashion, teaching little ones the value of what they wear has never been more important. Trusty & Mona was created to make sustainability fun and easy to understand for young minds (ages 4–8).
By blending playful on-screen storytelling with hands-on activities, we help children build a circular mindset. We show them that textiles we no longer use aren’t rubbish. They could be the beginning of a whole new story.
Meet the On-Screen Stars
Our educational, pre-recorded videos are led by a very special duo who make learning about the planet an absolute joy:
Mona: Your cheerful host! Mona loves sharing what she knows and showing others how to care for the environment in a fun way.
Trusty: Our “Super Smart Dog”! He is curious and a little cheeky. He is always ready to learn... especially if there’s a treat involved!

Hello! I’m Laura, the creator and facilitator behind Trusty & Mona. While the puppets handle the on-screen magic, I bring the adventure into the real world.
My passion is blending digital storytelling with tactile, hands-on learning. Whether I am visiting a busy classroom or hosting a drop-in craft station at a local library, my goal is always the same: to inspire kids to treasure their clothes and see waste as a wonderful resource. Through our interactive workshops, we watch our on-screen heroes and learn new vocabulary along the way. Then we get creative and give pre-loved fabrics a new purpose.
